Daily Social Media Checklist for Beginner Real Estate Agents
Jessica, a client of ours got 37 deals this year till October, all from Social Media and she did not prospect for business a single day by cold calling or sending direct mailers. She has been consistent on Social Media and is on her way to making half a million dollars in commision this year alone.
There's no secret that being present and seen on social media is crucial success for you as a real estate professional in 2023. But Social Media can be daunting because of how much there is to do. As always you need to start small. One step at a time . You can graduate to the next step when these items seem as natural or obvious to do as is brushing your teeth daily.
You need to allocate 10 - 30 mins a day for your social media growth. If you cannot do 10 mins consistently. Start with 1. But the goal is to stay consistent and keep increasing till it is sustainable. What's sustainable for me might not be sustainable for you.
When you are starting out, just pick one platform. (Don't worry... soon you will be able to crush on all platforms, when you are consistent)
Simple Daily Social Media Checklist
Post One Piece of Content: Whether it's a beautiful shot of a new listing or a quick tip on home staging, make sure to post something every day. Once you are comfortable with image or text, grow to start making reels. Start with simple, faceless, 5 second reels.
Engage with Followers: Reply to comments on your posts within the day to build community engagement.
Respond to DMs: DMs are potential leads. Don't ignore them; respond promptly.
Follow/DM 1-5 new People: Grow your network by connecting with other real estate agents, potential clients, or local businesses. Engage with more active people because they can give you tailwind to your efforts.
Like and Comment on other's posts: Engage with at least 3-5 posts from your network or related to your local area to maintain an active presence. Again, focus on slightly above average accounts for that tailwind.
Share 3 moments of your day in stories: People find you on reels and connect with you on stories. Stories give your audience a glimpse of your life and they are able to relate to you. It creates a community for you!
Review Today's Performance: Take five minutes to look at your analytics. Note what’s working and what's not. If this is too much you can skip this for now.
